I have been creating some type of craft my whole adult life. Starting with cross stitching then moved on to sewing angels, pumpkins, snowmen, santa's....stuff like that. I loved selling at craft shows, that was always fun with my kids helping me when they were young, and I also sold at their schools to teachers. Only problem....I didn't really care for sewing that much.

Then around 10 years ago I was introduced to making jewelry by a neighbor and friend. Fell in love with this kind of creating and in 2009 discovered Etsy, opened my shop here part time and after 12 years of driving a school bus, I was able to quit that and do this full time.

Never was a glitzy bling jewelry kinda person (always been a tomboy at heart) so I wasn't too good at that type of jewelry but started messing with natural stones, copper, leather, etc. and that felt right! Have to admit....shopping for all the various stones and supplies that I use to make my jewelry is as much fun as creating the pieces! I am currently taking classes at the Norman Art Center on metalsmith techniques to incorporate into my work as I learn.

I design and fabricate each piece of jewelry in my shop myself. Born and raised in Oklahoma, I have Chickasaw on my dad's side and Cherokee on my mothers side so I've always been fascinated by native american traditions and styles and the love of nature is just inherent.
